The University of Pittsburgh’s Engagement Community of Practice (ECOP) is a supportive network that shares an interest in advancing the institution’s ecosystem of community-oriented and partnered teaching & learning, research, service, outreach, and programming.
Community engagement is an institutional priority at the University of Pittsburgh, supported in many ways and by many units. The ECOP is just one of the ways the Provost’s Office works closely with the Office of Engagement and Community Affairs to undertake activities that advance, elevate and celebrate the practices of community engagement.
Pitt’s ECOP convenes once per term (Fall, Spring, and Summer) and maintains an active online community through SharePoint (requires Pitt login). To join the group, please provide some information about yourself and your role and email Jamelle Price at jap260@pitt.edu.
The Office of Engagement and Community Affairs publishes an outreach and engagement newsletter twice per month! Sign-up today to get on the list.
